If you do use chemicals on your yard, assess the size of your yard. If it’s pretty small this may be a task you want to take over. Once you know what fertilizer and weed killers work on your yard, watering it in or dry dropping it is not that difficult and you may find that you like being outside. It’s also nice for your kids to see you doing work vs hiring someone to do it. Use something pretty easy to help teach them work ethic. Of course, later you may want to teach them the value of outsourcing, but work ethic is important.
