Try cutting your own grass. If you have a relatively small yard, it probably will save you money to cut your own grass. If you are really looking to save, ask your neighbor to borrow their cutter and pay for their gas. It’s a win for them and a win for you. Again, it teaches kids independence and work ethic if they see their parents working rather than outsourcing all chores. You may even find you like being out side.
