Did you know that many counties have free multch, dirt, sand and maybe rock for use in landscaping. It helps them for you to haul it away so they give it away. It also helps the county for you to upkeep your land. Research what is available in your county prior to spending lots of money on dirt. If the county doesn’t give it away, check with cement shops, rock shops and other raw material suppliers that may have excess or non-perfect stuff that they need to find a way to remove.
